Join us for a reception, the exclusive showing of
I Know A Woman Like That, the documentary film by Elaine Madsen, followed by a live discussion with the filmmaker and Maxine Hong Kingston, moderated by Mayumi Tsutakawa.
Maxine Hong Kingston is featured in the documentary along with other remarkable women who are actively aging well. She will be on hand during the reception to sell and autograph copies of her books including "The Woman Warrior" and "China Men."
All proceeds benefit Kawabe Memorial House and Senior Services.
